Specialist Importers’ Trade Tasting
It’s hugely exciting to be able to say that we’re attending the Specialist Importers’ Trade Tastings in London and Manchester next week. After so long off the road, we really can’t wait to be with you again!
New Listings and Old Favourites
We’ll be showcasing a diverse range including customer favourites from our existing portfolio as well as some of our 2021 additions that you might not have had the chance to taste yet – such as Mariana Onofri’s delicious Alma Gemela range and the wonderful Hermandad Winemaker Series. And, of course, we’ll be revealing some brand-new wines that have just landed.
Brand New Wines
The latest additions to our portfolio that we’ll be tasting at SITT include
From Chile
Bodega Volcanes de Chile. This unique winery project has a single mission: to create wines from grapes grown in Chile’s distinctive volcanic sub-soils. From the six wines joining our portfolio, we have selected the Tectonia Cabernet Sauvignon and Reserva Sauvignon Blanc for SITT.
From Argentina
Bodega Piedra Negra. This organic winery sits in the heart of Los Chacayes. From our range of six wines, we have chosen to taste the Alta Coleccion Malbec and Pinot Gris, plus the Arroyo Reserve (No Sulphur) Malbec.
We can’t wait to hear what you think about our new listings!
Bodega Piedra Negra
We’re particularly excited about adding Bodega Piedra Negra to our portfolio as it extends our partnership with Francois Lurton. He’s a true pioneer in the Uco Valley as the first person to plant vines in the foothills of the Andes Cordillera. The Piedra Negra winery sits at an altitude of 1,100 m.a.s.l. and manages 99 hectares of vines organically and in adherence to bio-dynamic principles. The Los Chacayes micro-climate of high-altitude desert and alluvial soil produces wines with a unique personality, combining freshness and concentration. Watch out for more news of our full range from Piedra Negra coming soon!
See You at SITT?
We hope to see plenty of familiar faces at the two SITT sessions next week but if you can’t make it, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us about any of these wines and we’ll be happy to tell you more.
