Specialist Importers’ Trade Tasting

Condor - SITT

We can’t wait to see you all at the Specialist Importers’ Trade Tastings in London and Manchester next week. Give us a heads up if planning to come to either event! If you can’t make it, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us about any of these wines and we’ll be happy to tell you more.

New Listings and Old Favourites

We’ll be showcasing a diverse range including customer favourites from our existing portfolio as well as some of our late-2021 additions that you might not have had the chance to taste yet – such as the summery Foye Moscatel from Bouchon, Marco Puyo’s very personal wines from Vina Dagaz and the exciting Volcanes de Chile range. And, of course, we’ll be revealing some brand-new wines that have just landed.

Brand New Producers

Dominio de Frenza

Agustin Lombroni

Dominio de Frenza

We’re so excited about adding Dominio de Freneza to our portfolio and to be working with Agustin again. After years of winemaking across the globe Agustin headed home to Patagonia with his family in 2020 to start his own ‘crazy’ project. Freneza is built on his passion for that challenging varietal, Pinot Noir. His ambition is to bring the vineyard to the glass – producing true expressions of terroir through traditional winemaking methods. As Agustin says, ‘Our philosophy is that sometimes, less is enough.’

Casarena

Casarena are proud to be both custodians and interpreters of the distinctive terroir of Luján de Cuyo in Mendoza. The winery itself, built in 1937 and sympathetically renovated in 2008, sits in the heart of Perdriel. Single vineyard specialists, they produce a range of varietal and blended wines from four vineyards – Jamilla (which surrounds the winery),Lauren, Owen and Naoki – across Perdriel, Agrelo and Alto Agrelo. The certified sustainable vineyards are a tribute to the diversity of the area. Each enjoys different elevation, sun orientation and soil composition allowing winemaker Martina Galeano to create markedly different profiles within a varietal to showcase the unique expression of each vineyard.
