Alcohol: 14% ABV  Tasting Note: Intensely coloured with a lifted nose of violets, red and black fruits; impressive density and balance on the palate with a richness of black fruits alongside attractive notes of tobacco and spice.  Vinification: Hand harvest with manual selection of bunches. Grapes sourced from low yielding vines, selected for their quality potential and overall balance. After destemming, whole grapes are pressed with natural yeasts. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures to retain maximum aromatic expression. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barrel and clarification is obtained naturally through repeated racking, before aging 12 months in French oak barrels.
