Blend: 100% Malbec Location: Cafayate Valley, Salta Altitude: 1,730m M.A.S.L. Alcohol: 14.5% ABV Tasting Note: Fresh plums, violets, blueberry, crushed-stone and mineral aromas on the nose lead to a fresh and brightly fruited, full-bodied palate with firm, silky tannins. Vinification: Picking must be carefully managed in the extreme conditions of Cafayete in order to retain the proper balance and freshness for a high-altitude Malbec. Fermentation temperatures and skin contact maceration are also reduced in this regard. 50% of the wine ages in French oak barrels for 12 months, the rest remains in concrete vats. Blend: 100% Malbec Location: La Consulta, Uco Valley, Mendoza Altitude: 1,100m M.A.S.L. Alcohol: 13.5% ABV Tasting Note: Ripe, juicy character with concentrated dark fruit and a clean savoury edge. Vinification: Entire berry fermentation takes place in small concrete vats, over 7 days at 25°C, four pump overs a day. Undergoes malolactic fermentation and 30% is aged for 8-10 months in French oak. Vegetarian: Yes Vegan: Yes Food Match: Roast beef or venison, barbequed lamb or pork, steak, game, cheddar cheese.
